How to join Environment Business

The establishment of an enabling policy environment to develop the marketplace for clean and efficient technologies,infrastructure, and smart supply chains is the most powerful rationale for membership in
Australia ’s peak body for the environment industry and clean technology sector.
There are eight categories of membership. All EBA member companies have the opportunity to participate in, and contribute to, its advocacy work, shaping policy, building markets and promoting commercial solutions to environmental challenges, in a variety of ways.
Categories of membership
1 - Platinum - By invitation
For organisations that wish to engage more fully in the strategy and policy development work of EBA,
and receive enhanced member services.
2 - Benefactor - $12,500.00
Currently over 30 members at Benefactor level who have a seat on the National Advisory Group and receive invitations to boardroom strategy lunches with key business and political decision makers
Corporate - partnership/organisation/foundation/government trading enterprise
3 - Entities with annual turnover exceeding $20 million - $7,500.00
4 - Entities with annual turnover between $10-$20 million - $5,000.00
Ordinary - SME, sole trader, Government department, local authority
5 - Entities with annual turnover $5-$10 million - $3,000.00
6 - Local Councils - $1,500.00
7 - Entities with annual turnover under $5 million/sole trader- $500.00
Associate
8 - Industry associations, students, overseas organisations - $500.00
Annual subscriptions include GST
Acknowledgement
Benefactor and Platinum level sponsors have their organisation logos displayed on the EBA web site home page, plus the logo on EBA printed material and organization name on EBA letterhead.
Governance
Benefactor and Platinum members jointly nominate/elect 60% of the EBA National Councillors;Members categories 3-7 have voting rights (1 vote per company) to elect National Councillors. Category 8 members do not have voting rights.
Information
All members receive a regular email newsletter, EBA News, reaching over 2,000 senior executives in business and government. The number of subscriptions per member range from 1 for Category 8 to 10 for Benefactor level. Members are invited to submit editorial, advertisement, news and event material for inclusion in EBA News. All members receive regular updates, news and market intelligence by email.
Events
All members receive special member rates for registration and priority bookings to EBA events (workshops, conferences, networking opportunities,dinner functions). Platinum and Benefactor Members additionally receive invitations to private briefings and /or high level private lunch/dinner meetings.
